Welcome to paradise!
Anyone who has been on the Turks and Caicos will have the desire to return again and again to paradise!
The “Condé Nast Traveler Magazin” has recently chosen the beach of Grace Bay on the island of Providenciales world’s most beautiful beach.
Good to understand!
Providenciales, North Caicos, West Caicos, Grand Turk, Middle Caicos, East Caicos, South Caicos, Salt Cayman-
that´s the name of just some of the 40 mostly small and some uninhabited islands.
The Turks and Caicos are located in the Atlantic Ocean about 920 kilometers Southeast of Miami and can be reached by plane from Europe and the United States non-stop.
The total area of all the islands is about 497 km². The capital is Cockburn Town, on Grand Turk, the administrative center of the archipelago.
The Turks and Caicos Islands are very popular for honeymooners and couples,
but now also families discover its variety-
diving, fishing, golf, windsurfing and water sports make the heart beat faster.
Due to its geographical loc ation, the weather is almost always perfect.
All islands rise only a few meters from the sea, there are less rain clouds and
therefore, it is much drier than on other islands in the Caribbean.
As with other Caribbean islands, there are an abundance of sunshine and blue skies, the average temperature is 28 C,
on average there are 350 sunny days a year.
An unique event is a possible meeting with Jojo, a bottlenose dolphin
which is regularly encountered for many years in the shallow waters of the Grace Bay .
One of a few dolphins that interacts freely with people in their natural environment.
The friendly dolphin was a powerful symbol of nature protection on the Turks and Caicos.
The islands and the turquoise waters are an unique environment for an intact nature experience with turtles, dolphins, whales and a variety of rare birds in the area.
To protect the valuable natural heritage, the Turks and Caicos found already 27 national parks and protected areas around the unique coastal areas and reefs.
But these photos might convince you more than words …!
